Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team at the hospital.

This is a Full-Time Position working 40 hours per week. Your rota would also include an average of 1:4 weekends with TOIL and up to 3 bank holidays per year.

As well as the large clinical team around you, and integral front-of-house team for client care support, you will be fully supported by their senior nurses, deputy head nurse, head nurse, head vet and hospital manager.

The hospital sees an incredibly varied caseload, no day is the same, and it’s a great environment to learn from their talented team of certificate holders and specialists. The hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to their clients and local network of 20 branches and works to the highest clinical standards.

There is state-of-the-art diagnostic support, with a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.

This role will suit an RVN who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment, enjoys all areas of hospital nursing and prides itself in providing the highest standard of patient care. A background in an ECC environment, with a bias for surgical nursing, specifically orthopaedic would be admirable but not essential.
