Introduction
Our client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team on a flexible regional support basis.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role with 1 in 6 weekends. Part-time options are available.
Role Description
The successful candidate will support surgical procedures, deliver nurse-led appointments, schedule 3 activities, patient monitoring and care, manage admissions and discharges, dispense and check medications, and ensure professional and regulatory compliance. They will also lead team briefings to support daily operations.
Team Size
The role involves collaboration across multiple sites, supporting varied teams throughout the region.
Practice Details
The role will be primarily based at a main branch, with weekly variations depending on regional needs such as holiday or absence cover. The practice teams across the region are known for their loyalty and collaborative work ethic.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered with experience delivering excellent patient and client care. They should be confident with nurse consults, schedule 3 tasks, and have the ability to work effectively in different team environments. Strong communication and coaching skills are essential.
