Job Description

Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly team at their Leigh branch.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering 40 hours per week, which can be worked over either four or five days. The position includes a paid lunch break each day. The rota includes 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday 8:45–16:45 and Sunday 8:45–12:45), with 1.5 days off in lieu during the week. Weekday shifts are varied, with start times ranging from 8:30 to 11:30 and finish times from 16:30 to 19:30, aligning with later evening openings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The team is close-knit, with a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional development. The practice is well-equipped, providing a modern and efficient working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, assisting with surgical procedures, consultations, and inpatient care, as well as supporting the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic RVN with a proactive approach and a genuine passion for animal care. Additional qualifications and experience are welcomed, although this is not a leadership role.
