South Devon Vets in Newton Abbot is seeking a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care across surgical, medical and nurse clinics while collaborating closely with veterinary surgeons and colleagues.
The role offers 24 hours per week with 8:00am–6:30pm shifts and 1 in 8 Saturdays. A minimum of 2 years RVN experience is preferred, with RCVS registration and a proactive approach to learning encouraged.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at South Devon Vets on a part-time basis.
We have three practices within our group, all based in the Newton Abbot area of South Devon. We’re ideally located between the spectacular Tors of Dartmoor and the beautiful South Devon coastline, with some fantastic beaches just a short drive away.
(formerly known as Kingsteignton Veterinary Practice) is a friendly, well-established practice at the heart of the local community. The practice is currently undergoing a signage change, which will be completed over the next few weeks.
South Devon Veterinary Hospital and Referrals is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Abbotskerswell, within the old village cider works.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
