Grade UE06 £34,132- 39,355 per annum, pro rata
CMVM/Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies/Hospital for Small Animals
8.30am-8.30pm shift times (with 1 hour unpaid lunch) rolling 4 shifts on, 8 shifts off
Part time: 11 hours shifts averaging 25.67 hours/week
Fixed term: 12 months
The Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse to joinour established Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) nursing team here at the Hospital for Small Animals (HfSA) on a rolling rota, 4 shifts on, 8 shifts off. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing state-of-the-art nursing for critically ill and emergency patients.
We are open to emergencies 24/7, so part of the role is to support the growing out of hours emergency referrals we see, involving triage, stabilisation and longer term care of our critically ill patients.
As part of this role, you will be expected to cover the annual leave for your colleagues, accruing paid overtime for all additional hours worked. Successful candidates will be highly motivated to take their career forward by helping us develop and teachcritical care nursingwithin our hospital.
Prior nursing experience in a busy emergency room and/or in a referral hospital is desirable, however, full training will be provided to successful candidate.
