Permanent, Full-time, £26,000 - £32,000 DOE

If you are an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking to join a warm, highly-valued, and friendly team, then we would love to hear from you! Here at Companion Care Vets Peterborough, we are a locally owned practice with the robust support of a larger organisation. Our clients love us, and we think you will too!

About Us

We are a thriving, busy first-opinion practice committed to providing exceptional care. Our partners Megan, Adrian, and Joe are dedicated to a supportive culture, genuinely recognizing their nurses as the central core of the entire team.

Our supportive and experienced clinical team currently consists of:

  • 4 Full-Time Vets
  • 4 Registered and Experienced Nurses (and you would make the fifth!)
  • 3 Student Nurses
  • 4 Reception colleagues

We are conveniently located inside the Pets at Home store on Bourges Boulevard. While we may have three consult rooms small in size, we are incredibly busy and service a large volume of animals, giving you maximum exposure to varied cases!

About You and the Role

You are an RVN ready to step into a key clinical role. You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of patient and client care. Your experience will be integral not only in caring for patients but also in mentoring our three student nurses.

You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. We will fully empower you to utilize your skills and experience through actively supporting nurse clinics and, crucially, Schedule 3 procedures. We are committed to your ongoing professional development.

  • This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week.
  • You will be part of a supportive rotation covering 1 in 4 Saturdays.
  • There are no out-of-hours duties, ensuring a fantastic work-life balance.
Benefits

By joining us, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. We offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and an excellent package and benefits that includes:

  • Competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Generous CPD allowance to support your professional growth
  • Memberships (RCVS, VDS) paid for
  • 5.6 weeks holiday
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards - including 20% off at Pets at Home, The Groom Room, and The Vet Group.
