Job description

Medivet Hyde Park is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. Located on a charming street adjacent to Hyde Park in the luxury retail quarter of Connaught Village, our practice boasts significant curb appeal.

You will work as the sole RVN in the practice, within a supportive team environment. Opportunities for nurse consultations are plentiful, and we support your professional development through training and internal CPD, including a bespoke nutritional ambassador programme.

This role offers a 4-day work week with 1:6 weekends, providing a fixed day off each week to help maintain work-life balance. We have established clinical communities for vets and nurses to connect and collaborate on shared interests.

Our practice address is 61-63 Connaught St, St George's Fields, London W2 2AE. Facilities include a welcoming front reception, two consult rooms, a theatre, separate cat/dog wards, and on-site boutique and grooming services.

Role Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding care to clients and patients.
• Supporting surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative activities.
• Conducting nurse-led appointments and scheduling activities.
• Monitoring and caring for patients.
• Managing admissions and discharges under veterinary supervision.
• Handling patient transfers for out-of-hours or specialized care.
• Dispensing and verifying medications.
• Ensuring compliance with all standards and regulations.
• Leading team briefings to ensure smooth practice operations.
