The Opportunity

To provide technical support to internal and external customers on DVP's range of companion animal products by working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams.

Role Responsibilities

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit. The successful candidate will have responsibilities including:

  • Technical customer service: Respond to incoming product enquiries efficiently, with knowledge, proper documentation, industry compliance, and courtesy to provide excellent service.

Marketing support:

  • Ensure that strategy, tactics, and marketing materials are relevant, technically accurate, and industry compliant.
  • Participate in cross-functional therapy area teams and support marketing campaigns pre- and post-launch.
  • Present at CPD meetings for veterinary professionals, delivering technical and commercial messages.
  • Present technical information to key customers as required.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop technical support plans for key accounts to meet objectives.

Training:

  • Provide technical training to ensure Dechra staff's sound product understanding, including 'in-field' training, coaching, and support.

Develop and maintain a UK and Ireland industry and market presence:

  • Support at congresses, exhibitions, and CPD events.
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with key opinion leaders.

Other duties:

  • Maintain knowledge of internal IT systems like Pharma Technical Database and PV Works, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Undertake additional duties as needed, which may include out-of-office activities like working at different sites, attending meetings, or congresses.
