Job description

Due to the phenomenal response to our new clinic in Liverpool, we are looking to grow our team.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate RVN to help deliver exceptional care at our new site. Our affordable service will provide the pets and pet owners of Liverpool with high-quality care without the hefty price tag. The diverse caseload at Animal Trust means no two days will be the same, allowing you to use all your nursing skills. This clinic will be supported by our 24/7 site at Ellesmere Port, ensuring ongoing care for the pets we treat.

Liverpool Clinic features six spacious consulting rooms. Our three fully equipped theatres support a wide range of surgical procedures for the diverse caseload we see. As standard for Animal Trust we will have a dental suite with dental X-Ray, Ultrasound diagnostic room and a X-Ray suite complete with digital X-Ray.

To further enhance patient comfort, the clinic has dedicated dog and cat wards, providing separate spaces for our feline and canine patients. We’ve also designed separate dog and cat waiting areas, creating a cat-friendly environment that helps reduce stress for our feline friends.

At Animal Trust, you'll find a supportive and inclusive culture that values each individual's contribution. We operate without hierarchy, fostering an environment where every team member contributes to our shared commitment to clinical excellence.

About Animal Trust

Animal Trust stands out from other veterinary services. Firstly, we are a unique Community Interest Company, being the only veterinary CIC in the UK to date. Our primary focus isn't solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term.

Our vision is clear: No pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill. In response, we aim to assist. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need.

Benefits:
  • 6 weeks holiday, including bank holidays
  • CPD funded to certificate level
  • 52 Weeks sickness benefit and free Employee assistance program — awarded after qualifying period
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity package
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • Access to counselling support including mental health, financial and life counselling after 12 months of service
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • E-Car Scheme
  • Store discount through Vivup
