Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at White Cross Vets, West Derby on a full-timebasis.

I have worked at West Derby White Cross since January this year and it is definitely my best job yet. The team are brilliant; super organised, friendly, and experienced, the diary is really well managed and the clients are lovely. We are building up our case load of surgeries and with an additional nurse we would hope to be doing 2-3 procedures almost every day of the week. We also have 2 vets who are keen on ultrasound scanning so we see a few interesting things with that too.

Overall, it is a great practice, very supportive and genuinely patient oriented, so I would recommend to anyone!

Practice Highlights

  • Ultrasound suite including cardiac probe
  • Dedicated cat and dog ward
  • In-house lab
  • Multiparameter and pulse ox machines

Working Pattern

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Working Monday to Friday on a rota basis
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
  • No OOH requirement

General Responsibilities

  • Nurse clinics
