Job summary

Westmorland Veterinary Group in Kendal is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and supporting excellent client experiences.

You will work with veterinary surgeons and the team to care for first opinion cases, perform nurse consults, theatre work, monitor anaesthesia and run lab work. 24 hours per week, Monday–Friday with 1 in 7 weekends, no out-of-hours duties; a supportive,

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Westmorland Vets on a part-time basis.

Westmorland Veterinary Group is a thriving two site practice with separate farm and small animal teams. Our team has a variety of experience, from student nurses and new graduate vets to those with over 30 years of experience. We have certificate holders, including an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, and further qualifications and training are encouraged here.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 24 hours per week
• Working Monday to Friday on a rota basis
• 1 in 7 weekends included within weekly hours
• No out of hours duties
