Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at White Cross Vets, West Derby. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care as part of the clinical team, supporting surgeons and the broader practice.

You will work across first-opinion cases, contribute to clinical standards, and help develop patient care within the practice, in a full-time role with a rota-based pattern and no out-of-hours requirements.

Qualifications

  • RCVS registration is required.
  • Experience in clinical nursing, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
  • Good organisational skills and workload management.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at White Cross Vets, West Derby on a full-timebasis.

The team are brilliant; super organised, friendly, and experienced, the diary is really well managed and the clients are lovely. We are building up our case load of surgeries and with an additional nurse we would hope to be doing 2-3 procedures almost every day of the week. We also have 2 vets who are keen on ultrasound scanning so we see a few interesting things with that too."

Overall, it is a great practice, very supportive and genuinely patient oriented, so I would recommend to anyone!

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Working Monday to Friday on a rota basis
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
  • No OOH requirement
