Walton Lodge Vets are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

Practice Highlights

• Joining 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
• Well-equipped with up-to-date facilities, including dental x-ray, ultrasound and orthopaedic theatre, allowing us to deliver a high standard of care and carry out a wide range of procedures in-house

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

The role is based on a 40-hour week, working Monday to Friday. Shifts are worked on a rota basis, which can be a 5-day week or a 4-day week. There is also a 1-in-7 Saturday morning rota (9:00am – 2:00pm).

General Responsibilities

This is a varied and hands‑on nursing role where you’ll rotate across different areas of the practice, including:

• Theatre and surgical support
• Inpatient care
• Nurse consultations
• Client communication and reception support
