We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Bath Veterinary Group on a full-time basis.

We are located in a thriving area of Bath which benefits from shops in walking distance and is easily commutable from Bristol and Bath. Station Road is a busy first opinion practice offering both consultations and operations daily throughout the week. We have a fully equipped operating theatre, dental x-ray facilities and practice laboratory. The team at Station Road are very friendly and pride themselves on their welcoming service. We also benefit from the support of our 24-hour first opinion and referral hospital in Bath.

  • Established clinical team of 2 vets, supported by 2 nurses and 2 receptionists
  • Well-supported practice with an experienced multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality patient care
  • Longstanding, stable team with 2 team members having been with the practice for 25 years
How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time 40 hours per week
  • Shifts will vary from 8:30am - 6:30pm split over four or five days
  • 1 in 8 Saturdays at Rosemary Lodge 8:00am - 6:30pm and roughly 1 in 20 Sunday mornings. Sunday's are paid as overtime
  • no out-of-hours requirement

General Responsibilities

  • Assisting veterinary surgeons during operations
  • Running nurse clinics and providing client education
  • General nursing duties, including maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Anaesthesia monitoring and patient care throughout surgical procedures
