Job summary

Westmorland Vets in Kendal is seeking a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our clinical team. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to a range of cases, supporting surgeons and nurses, and ensuring excellent client experiences.

You will work 24 hours per week on a Monday to Friday rota, with 1 in 7 weekends, and no out-of-hours duties. The role includes nursing consults, theatre work, anaesthesia monitoring, lab work and imaging.

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in nursing.

We have certificate holders, including an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, and further qualifications and training are encouraged here.

Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Westmorland Vets on a part-time basis.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 24 hours per week
• Working Monday to Friday on a rota basis
• 1 in 7 weekends included within weekly hours
• No out of hours duties
