Job summary

Village Vets is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Surrey team. The role is permanent, 25 hours per week across 3 days with a share in the weekend rota, with pro rata salary up to £33,000 depending on experience.

You'll care for patients in a small animal, first opinion practice, support learning and development, and enjoy access to CPD and industry training. CVS backs its people with generous benefits and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Qualified veterinary nurse with RCVS registration.
  • Experience in essential nursing tasks including anaesthesia.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality patient care, monitor recovery and run wards.
  • Conduct nurse clinics and procedures to support clients and patients.
  • Assist with anaesthesia and monitor patients during operations.
  • Support student nurses in their clinical journey.

Life at Village Vets

We are looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work on average 25 hours a week across 3 days with a share in the weekend rota. There is also the opportunity to cover additional out of hours shifts at the Hospital in Caterham, only if desired.

No two days at Village Vets are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high‑quality patient care, running wards and monitoring recovery

About you

Our ideal candidate will have some experience as a qualified veterinary nurse and be confident in all areas of nursing, including anaesthetics.
