Job summary

Affinity Trust in Market Weighton is seeking an experienced Registered Supported Living Manager to lead two locations. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred support for adults with disabilities, work with external practitioners and the local authority to meet compliance.

You will drive compliant rotas, develop robust support plans, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional outcomes while participating in an on-call rota and potentially travel within your division.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager with Level 5 or willing to complete Level 5.
• Experience managing multi-site teams supporting adults with disabilities.
• Strong leadership, outcomes focus and innovation.
• Proficient in using communication aids and creating robust support plans.

Responsibilities

Job Introduction

• Location:Market Weighton
• Salary:£36,514.24 (Pro rata)
• Driving:You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
• Hours per week:Full time (37.5 hours) & participation in an on-call rota
• Training Provided:Full induction and training opportunities available
• Qualifications- Level 5 in Health and Social care or willing to work towards a level 5

Requirements

• Leadership & Management Qualification:You are Registered Manager with a level 5, or are prepared to complete a level 5 qualification in health and social care
• Experience:You have experience managing multi site teams and have experience working with adults with disabilities and mental health issues.
• Strong leadership, delivering exceptional outcomes and continuous innovation.
• Communication:You are adept at using a variety of communication aids and developing robust support plans.
• Compliance:Experience working with several compliance IT platforms is desirable.

Are you an experienced Registered Support Manager ready to make a real difference? We are seeking a skilled and confident leader to join our supported living locations in Market Weighton supporting adults with disabilities to live their lives their way. You will be responsible for 2 locations in this area. Our locations are CQC regulated and focused on person-centred approaches.

About the Role

As Registered Supported Living Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we continue our goal of making a difference every day. You will work closely external practitioners, and the local authority to meet compliance requirements and deliver consistent, high-quality support.

You will be responsible for:

• Inspiring and leading your teamsto deliver consistent, person-centred support and supporting staff to gain confidence in their roles.
• Ensuring robust support plans are in placeand using a variety of communication aids to support adults who may not communicate using words.
• Supporting staff training and developmentby ensuring all staff are supported to complete and embed training effectively.
• Maintaining complianceby ensuring rotas are compliant, routines and structures are maintained to promote independence, and by managing compliance with CQC and other regulatory requirements.
• Working flexibly,including participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota, which may involve travelling to locations within your division.
