Job summary

Pulse Nursing is seeking Registered Paediatric Nurses to support specialist community care across Merseyside. This role offers flexible shifts, including regular nights, with block bookings available.

You will provide high-quality paediatric nursing in community settings for children with complex needs, maintaining documentation and collaborating with families and the clinical team.

Qualifications

  • Valid NMC registration and current UK nursing registration.
  • At least 6 months' recent UK nursing experience.
  • Experience working with children in paediatric settings.
  • Experience with complex needs and paediatric clinical interventions is desirable.
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference covering recent experience and three years of employment history.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care within community settings.
  • Care for children with complex healthcare needs.
  • Support children requiring specialist clinical interventions, including respiratory support.
  • Monitor, assess and respond to changes in a patient’s condition.
  • Work with families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

Pulse Nursing are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 Registered Paediatric Nurses to support specialist community care packages across the Merseyside area.

What you will be doing as a Registered Paediatric Nurse

Pulse Nursing agency requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Valid NMC registration.
  • At least 6 months' recent UK nursing experience.
  • Previous experience working with children in a paediatric setting.
  • Experience caring for children with complex needs is desirable.
  • Experience with tracheostomy care and/or ventilation is highly desirable, although additional support may be available for suitable candidates.
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference covering your recent experience, as well as employment history for the last three years.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
  • Right to work in the UK (proof will be required).
