Pulse Nursing is seeking registered Paediatric A&E nurses (Band 5 & 6) in the Romford & Ilford area to provide flexible shifts across London. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced paediatric environment with supportive clinical teams and the option to book shifts in advance.

Applicants must hold valid NMC registration and have NHS Paediatric A&E experience; a DBS and up-to-date references will be required.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Paediatric A&E Sector.
• Ability to provide a clinical reference and cover the last three years of employment.
• Right to work within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, implement and review patients aged 0–18 in a fast‑paced A&E.
• Triaging patients on arrival into A&E.
• Wound care including suturing and gluing.
• Communicate with doctors and relevant healthcare professionals.
• Provide high levels of care while learning new skills.
• Work as a team to ensure safe levels of care.

Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Paediatric A&E Nurses to work within the Romford & Ilford Area.

What you will be doing as a Registered Paediatric A&E Nurse

• Assess, evaluate, implement and review patients, ranging from 0-18 years old, in a fast paced environment
• Triaging patients upon their arrival into A&E
• Wound care (suturing and gluing)
• Communicating with doctors and relevant healthcare professionals.
• Using your skills to give high levels of care, whilst learning new skills.
• Working as a team to provide a safe level of care. Pulse Nursing agency requirements

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

• Valid NMC registration
• At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Paediatric A&E Sector
• Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
• Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
• Right to work within the UK - proof will be required.
• Previous experience within Paediatric setting.
