Skycare in the Doncaster area is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (8pm–8am, 12-hour shifts). 33 hours per week with sponsorship for UK-based nurses holding at least 2 years in a nursing home and 1 year UK RN experience mandatory. Location: Doncaster area, Woodlands.

The home offers dementia, MHC, and end-of-life care with dedicated teams. Responsibilities include care planning, medication administration, and team supervision.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with UK eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years in a nursing home setting.
• Willing to work night shifts and flexible hours.
• Experience with care planning and medication administration.

Responsabilités

• Full-time, 33 hours per week
• Night shifts,12-hour shifts, 8pm-8am
• Pay rate is £20 per hour

About the home:

This Care Home has large, single, ensuite rooms that allow residents to enjoy as much privacy as they'd like at all times. Our experienced staff are fully qualified (qualifications include Health & Social Care levels 2-3, Registered Mental Health Nurses and more) to look after residents with dementia, tailoring their care to each individual's need. Our staff are also equipped to deal with a variety of health issues, such as:

Nurse Job Role

To be responsible for the assessment of the care needs of patients and the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans under the direction of the Head Nurse, thereby ensuring that a high standard of care is delivered.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for candidates who will be able to ensure that nursing care is delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures.You'll report directly to the Registered Care Manager and your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects / reactions
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
• To be able to supervise, develop and teach other care team members
• Monitoring standards of care delivered to our residents
• Ensuring all Day staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home
• Ensuring resident needs are being met by interacting with them, resolving any problems where appropriate
• Reporting any ill-health amongst residents and making requests for GP/Professional visits when needed
• Preparing, updating and evaluating Resident Care Plans
• General Nursing work and personal care as appropriate
• Attend relevant staff meetings
• Advising the Registered Care Manager of any incidents/accidents
• Ensuring there is a clear and concise handover at every shift

• Previous working experience within a similar position
