Job summary

Cygnet Sherwood Lodge in Mansfield is seeking a confident Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) to join their team. This full-time role (42 hours) includes days, nights and alternate weekends, caring for 26 men with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, care planning, medicines administration, audits, CPD and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to improve quality and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with current NMC registration.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 and nursing best practices.
• Proven ability to produce nursing assessments and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Produce written reports from nursing assessments and observations.
• Administer prescribed medicines in line with guidelines.
• Develop service and audit quality with management.
• Attend training and CPD for ongoing knowledge.

You will be working full time, 42 hours a week, to include days, nights and alternate weekends.At Cygnet Sherwood Lodge, we support 26 men with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may also have behaviours that challenge. When individuals come to Cygnet Sherwood Lodge they can often be mentally and emotionally unstable due to varying reasons.
