Job summary

Cygnet Sedgley Lodge is recruiting an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our multidisciplinary team at Sedgley Lodge in Wolverhampton. You will contribute to delivering high-quality care to men with complex needs, working 42 hours per week across days, nights and weekend shifts, supported by a full MDT.

As an RMN with current NMC PIN, you will produce detailed nursing assessments, maintain care plans in collaboration with residents and families, administer medications, and

Qualifications

• RMN with current NMC PIN.
• Ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity.
• Understanding of the latest nursing practices & commitment to patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.
• Compassion, resilience & dedication to empower & support service user independence.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments & observations.
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality.
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing.
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure individual care plans are complete & maintained with residents, relatives & other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medicines within healthcare procedure & Healthcare Commission guidelines.

Cygnet Group are looking for aRegistered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley Lodge. Youll be working42hours a week(including days, nights & alternative weekends)atCygnet Sedgley Lodge. Cygnet Sedgley House and Cygnet Sedgley Lodge offer a 34-bed high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men with complex needs. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity. Cygnet Sedgley Lodge is a 14-bed service providing a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) including occupational therapy, psychology and psychiatry, with support from registered nurses and support workers.

Your day-to-day

• Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence

Desirable

• The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
• An interest in leadership, research & assessment
