Job summary

Cygnet Sherwood Lodge is seeking an outstanding Senior Nurse (RMN or RNLD) to join our team. You’ll work 42 hours per week, across days, nights and alternate weekends, supporting 26 men with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will lead a team, supervise staff, manage medications and develop care plans in line with best practice. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• RMN or RNLD with current NMC pin and leadership experience.
• Experience supervising nursing and support staff.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead an allocated team of nurses & support workers.
• Supervise junior staff, lead by example and guide them.
• Develop the service with management, audit & quality improvement.
• Safeguard and promote wellbeing of service users.
• Manage medication and coordinate patient programmes of care.
