Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 30-bed inpatient ward in Plymouth. You will support patients through the surgical journey, mainly elective orthopaedics, from pre-admission to discharge with a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, adhering to health legislation and NMC guidelines, and planning care with a flexible approach to working hours.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse Part 1 is required.
• Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification is required.
• Evidence of a basic qualification in general nursing is needed.
• Orthopaedic qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of patient care supported by evidence-based practice.
• Ensure nursing is practised within the constraints of and guided by relevant legislation and standards.
• Liaise with the wider Practice Plus Group medical team to coordinate patient treatment and maintain confidentiality.
