Practice Plus Group Plymouth is seeking an experienced Ward Shift Leader to oversee a 30-bed inpatient ward, providing clinical leadership and coordinating a 24/7 nursing team. You will plan weekly schedules, liaise with a multidisciplinary team, and drive high standards of patient care for post-operative arthroplasty patients and orthopaedic cases.

• NMC registered nurse with CPD evidence.
• Qualification in teaching and assessment.
• Extensive post-registration surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as clinical lead and communicate clearly with the multidisciplinary team.
• Plan and delegate ward duties to maintain 24/7 service.
• Teach/train nursing staff and promote best practice sitewide.
• Collaborate with Practice Plus Group medical team while preserving patient confidentiality.
