Job summary

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse for Orthopaedics in Bridlington. The role is full-time on a contract basis, offering the chance to support patients on an elective orthopaedic ward and contribute to pre-assessment care.

You will work to support patients through recovery, joining a friendly team and having opportunities to develop leadership and management skills during service delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.
• Experience in orthopaedic or surgical settings welcomed.
• Commitment to patient-focused, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring accurate written records.
• Communicate with patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information.
• Promote and maintain positive relationships between all staff involved in the care of the patient.
• Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct.
• Undertake duties on different wards/departments as and when required by service demands.
