Job summary

Greenan Manor in Doonfoot near Ayr is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the night shift team. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, with nights, and provides hands-on clinical leadership to ensure safe, compassionate care.

You will work under NMC guidelines, delivering person-centred care to residents with opportunities for development, plus competitive benefits and overtime rates.

Located in the coastal village of Doonfoot, near Ayr, Greenan Manor is a purpose- built 52- bed care home providing residential, nursing, dementia, respite and palliative care for the elderly. Our home combines modern facilities with compassionate, person- centred care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Salary: £21.56per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week (Nights)

Role and responsibilities

• Upholding high nursing care standards by leading the team and ensuring the shift runs smoothly by creating a safe and supporting environment in line with NMC codes of practice

• Deliver hands on clinical care, leadership and support to provide the highest standards of person-centred care ensuring our residents live their best lives

• Advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for our residents and their families

• Develop and monitor comprehensive, tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments adhering to regulatory frameworks

What we are looking for

• Valid NMC registration

• Previous experience leading a team (Desirable)

• Excellent knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and regulatory frameworks

• Professional, compassionate and motivated - you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing

• What’s just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
