Job summary

Belleaire Care Home in Greenock is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our team. The role covers day shifts with 40.5 hours per week and a pay of £21.59 per hour, plus competitive benefits and overtime rates.

You will lead nursing care, deliver hands-on clinical support, and ensure residents receive person-centered, compassionate care in a safe environment. NMC registration is required, with opportunities for development and revalidation support.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Experience leading a team (Desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.

• Organised, flexible and have great communication skills.

Responsibilities

Overlooking the River Clyde in Greenock, Belleaire Care Home is a 52-bed home providing nursing and dementia care for the elderly. Role and responsibilities

• Upholding high nursing care standards by leading the team and ensuring the shift runs smoothly by creating a safe and supporting environment in line with NMC codes of practice
• Deliver hands on clinical care, leadership and support to provide the highest standards of person-centred care ensuring our residents live their best lives
• Advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for our residents and their families
• Develop and monitor comprehensive, tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments adhering to regulatory frameworks

What we are looking for

• Valid NMC registration
• Previous experience leading a team (Desirable)
• Excellent knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and regulatory frameworks
• Professional, compassionate and motivated - you'll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
• What's just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
