Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Registered Nurse for a care home in Guernsey, Channel Islands. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care, managing care plans, and overseeing medicines. You will engage with residents, families, and inspectors to ensure excellent standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Qualified as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
Experience delivering nursing care in elderly health care.
People management experience.
Experience participating in quality and clinical governance programmes.

Responsibilities

Deliver and oversee person-centred care; assess residents' needs and wishes.
Develop and update care plans to meet changing needs.
Oversee medicines management on shift in line with policies and legislation.
Communicate with visitors and external stakeholders to uphold the care home's reputation.
Ensure resident experience from admission to discharge is positive.
Participate in inspections to ensure readiness and compliance.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best-practice guidelines.
