Job Description:

Amica Care offers a range of friendly, welcoming, and professional support services, including occasional day care, to assisted living providing the independence many of our residents desire, through to specialist dementia care for those in most need of our support.

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team in Yeovil. The role will include one day shift and one night shift per week.

Day to Day:

• You will look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of our residents.
• You will provide a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, using your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions.
• You can expect to develop care plans, practice, and ensure the safe administration of medications.
• Leading the shifts, inspiring a team of dedicated Healthcare Assistants and Care Assistants.

Requirements:

• You will need a current NMC registration and a good knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA.
• Work within staff values, promote effective communication, demonstrate passion for your work, encourage teamwork, and maintain a positive attitude. Pride yourself on a person-centered and thoughtful approach to nursing.
