Amica Care offers a range of friendly, welcoming, and professional support services, including occasional day care, to assisted living providing the independence many of our residents desire, through to specialist dementia care for those in most need of our support.

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team in Crewkerne. The role includes one day shift and one night shift per week.

Responsibilities:

• Look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of residents.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for residents with various physical and mental needs, using professional judgement for critical clinical decisions.
• Develop care plans, administer medications safely, and ensure best practices.
• Lead shifts and inspire a team of Healthcare Assistants and Care Assistants.

Requirements:

• Current NMC registration and up-to-date clinical knowledge.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA.
• Work within staff values, communicate effectively, be passionate, promote teamwork, and maintain a positive attitude. Emphasize person-centered and thoughtful nursing approaches.
