Job Description:

Amica Care offers a range of friendly, welcoming, and professional support services, including occasional day care, to assisted living, providing the independence many of our residents desire, through to specialist dementia care for those in most need of our support.

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team in Crewkerne. The role involves one day shift and one night shift per week.

Day to Day:

• Look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of residents.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, using professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.
• Develop care plans, practice, and ensure the safe administration of medications.
• Lead shifts, inspiring a team of Health Care Assistants and Care Assistants.

Requirements:

• Current NMC registration and good knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA.
• Work within staff values, promote effective communication, passion, team working, and a positive attitude. Pride in a person-centred and thoughtful approach to nursing is essential.
