Job summary
Exemplar Health Care’s Potters Green care home in Rotherham is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) to join our dedicated team. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to adults with complex and high-acuity needs, supported by strong staffing levels and ongoing training.
We look for first-level NMC-registered nurses from all backgrounds, with a calm, coaching approach and a commitment to best practice.
Qualifications
- First-level nursing registration with NMC PIN is essential.
- Experience across adults, mental health or learning disability nursing is welcome.
- Commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care and best practice.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning and implementing care for the people we support.
- Providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care.
- Developing collaborative, needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Safe administration of medication.
- Promoting health and wellbeing.
- Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit on shift.
- Managing situations when behaviours may be challenging.
- Promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect.
