Job summary

CCH Maidstone Complex SCP in Kent is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our complex care team in Lyminge. You will provide high-standard nursing care to clients with complex needs, working closely with families and the MDT under a complex community nurse.

We offer flexible working where possible, a supportive environment, and opportunities for career progression within CCH; prior experience with tracheostomies, ventilators and airway management is valued.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin and at least 3 years of experience
• Able to perform moving and handling safely
• Experience with tracheostomies and ventilators
• Experience with cough assist and deep suctioning
• Experience with supra pubic catheters and bowel management
• Experience administering medication
• Experience with spinal cord injuries

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of nursing care to clients with complex needs
• Work with families and MDT under the complex community nurse oversight
• Follow up-to-date care plan to meet client needs and wishes
• Deliver holistic person-centred care; flexible working if required
• Care duties include tracheostomy care, nocturnal ventilator use, cough assist, bowel management, med administration
