Qualifications

• Must hold a current NMC PIN and be a registered nurse.
• Experience in adult, mental health or learning disability settings advantageous.
• Commitment to person-centred care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care for residents.
• Provide person-centred and evidence-based nursing care.
• Develop collaborative, needs-based care plans from assessment to evaluation.
• Safe administration of medications.
• Promote health and wellbeing of residents.
• Act as Nurse in Charge on shift for a small unit.
• Manage challenging behaviours with calm professionalism.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
