Job summary

Evolve Staffing Ltd. is recruiting experienced Band 5 Registered Nurses with substantial Accident & Emergency (A&E) and Emergency Department (ED) experience to support NHS hospitals in Bristol.

This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse / RGN with proven experience in busy Accident & Emergency, Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine or acute hospital settings. You will provide patient-centred care and work within a multidisciplinary NHS team in Bristol.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Substantial and recent A&E/ED experience in busy hospital settings.
• Strong emergency nursing knowledge with sound clinical judgment and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred nursing care to acute/emergency presentations.
• Undertake triage, observation, monitoring and documentation within a multidisciplinary NHS team.
• Administer medications safely and support admission, transfer, discharge and referrals.
• Contribute to high standards of clinical governance and patient safety in fast-paced environments.

This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse / RGN with proven experience in busy Accident & Emergency, Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine or acute hospital settings.

About the Role

As a Band 5 A&E Registered Nurse, you will provide patient-centred nursing care to patients presenting with acute, urgent and emergency medical, surgical and trauma conditions.

Working within a multidisciplinary NHS team, you will undertake patient assessment, triage, observations and clinical monitoring; recognise deterioration; escal
ap concern appropriately; administer medication safely; maintain accurate clinical records; assist with emergency procedures; and support safe admission, transfer, discharge and onward referral.

The role may involve experience across Majors, Minors, Resuscitation, Triage, Acute Assessment, Ambulatory Emergency Care and other urgent treatment areas.

Requirements

Applicants must hold current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse and have substantial, recent A&E, Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine or comparable acute hospital experience. You should demonstrate strong emergency nursing knowledge, sound clinical judgement, assessment and escalation skills, effective communication and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Experience in trauma nursing, acute medicine, sepsis management, resuscitation and NHS hospital settings would be advantageous.
