Job summary

Leonard Cheshire in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, is looking for a caring nurse to work night shifts at Symonds House, a residential home supporting 20 disabled adults. This part-time role covers one night a week (7pm–7:30am) with enhanced pay for night and weekend hours.

You’ll assess and deliver personalised care plans, administer medicines safely, and work with a team to promote independence and dignity. We offer a strong benefits package and induction to support your professional development.

Symonds House is a spacious and modern residential home in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, supporting 20 disabled adults. Surrounded by wonderful views of the local countryside, our home is close to shops, pubs and cafes. You’ll find good transport connections to London, Stevenage, Peterborough, and Cambridge.
Your working Hours
Covering Night Shifts, working one night a week on a rota basis (7pm - 7:30am).

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.

Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of experience, you’ll receive full induction, training, and ongoing professional development.
