Job summary

Keane Premier Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Scotland. You will lead shifts, deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care and ensure safe medication administration.

The role requires current NMC registration with an active PIN and previous nursing experience in a care setting. You will collaborate with GPs and care professionals, drive care plans and support junior staff. A strong commitment to development is essential.

Qualifications

  • Current NMC registration with an active Nursing PIN.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within a care home or similar care setting.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, medication management and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Experience assessing needs, developing person-centred care plans and reviewing outcomes.
  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to lead shifts and support the wider care team.
  • A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach to care.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and provide clinical leadership across the service.
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
  • Safely administer medications and treatments in line with professional standards and Company policies.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of the people we support, recognising signs of deterioration and taking appropriate clinical action.
  • Complete clinical assessments, care planning, reviews and risk assessments tailored to the needs of the people we support.
  • Work collaboratively with the people we support, their families, GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, paramedics and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate care records, medication records and clinical documentation.
  • Support, supervise and mentor care staff, providing clinical guidance and leadership.
  • Promote safeguarding, infection prevention and safe clinical practice.
  • Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives and inspection readiness.
  • Ensure care is delivered in line with NMC standards, Health & Social Care Standards, Care Inspectorate requirements and Company policies.

What We're Looking For
