Job summary

Keane Premier Support Services South Lanarkshire is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to residents in a care setting. You will administer medications, assess patient needs, and collaborate with the care team to develop individual care plans.

Applicants must hold an active NMC pin and have proven RN experience in care settings. PVG clearance and two references are required. The role offers comprehensive induction and ongoing training, with 28 days’ holiday pro rata.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents.

  • Provide emotional support to residents and families.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Collaborate with care team and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents.

  • Complete physical/ psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, health status, and changes in resident’s conditions.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individual care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and families.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on current medical practices.
Qualifications:
