Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Bures Team in Colchester. This permanent, part-time post offers a broad specialty experience across adult areas with opportunities to influence rostering and work-life balance.

You'll be NMC-registered with acute experience, and you can choose shifts from long days and nights while benefiting from the NHS pension, leave allowances, and discounts. Training and development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) and have current pin.
• Previous general acute nursing experience is required.
• Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to a multi-speciality environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across adult specialties.
• Respond to ward escalation and support wards and departments as needed.
• Support team rostering and offer flexible shift options (long days and nights).

Summary

Are you a highly skilled, adaptive and enthusiastic Registered Nurse with proven post registration experience, looking for an opportunity to develop your skills, experience, and clinical knowledge across multiple specialities?

This role is only suitable for nurses already registered with the NMC with previous general acute experience.

This dynamic role covers all adult clinical specialities, responding to ward escalation and operational demands to ensure wards and departments receive the support they need when they need it.

• To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to Induction, mandatory and statutory training
• To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
• To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines
• To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team
