Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Community Staff Nurse to join the Stowmarket Integrated Community Team. The role focuses on delivering nursing care at patients' homes, including wound and catheter care, leg ulcers, and palliative support, while promoting independence.

You will work with GPs and multi-disciplinary colleagues; training is provided and you may use your own car for visits. Internal applicants may be seconded.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• You should be motivated and committed to delivering high quality care.
• Use of own car for work is expected where applicable.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Community Staff Nurse to join the Stowmarket Integrated Community Team. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

The team is integrated, motivated and forward thinking consisting of Therapists, Social Workers, Nurses and Support Staff.

Our primary function is to provide health and social care to patients in their home environment promoting independence and avoiding hospital admission. We also run clinics at base such as Leg Ulcer, Falls, Line care.

The team work with 3 GP practices and there is a wealth of experience and knowledge within the current members of the team.

You would need to be motivated and committed to delivering high quality care.

There is an expectation you would use your own car for work.

Please note internal applicants will be offered on a secondment basis only.
