Join our Team of Dedicated Midwives at King's Mill Hospital

Are you a talented and compassionate Band 6 Registered Midwife looking for an exciting career opportunity? Sherwood Forest Hospitals are currently seeking enthusiastic midwives to join our exceptional team on a permanent basis, either full-time or part-time.

At King's Mill Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality patient care. As a midwife with us, you will support women through pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work clinically as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide 24-hour cover within a duty rota.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, creating individualized, woman-centered care plans.
3. Communicate effectively with women, families, colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
4. Promote standards of the Baby Friendly Initiative and assist women with lactation and feeding techniques.
5. Collaborate with other agencies on safeguarding children, domestic abuse, mental health, and substance misuse issues.
