Job summary

Medical Update Online is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a modern supported living scheme for autistic individuals and people with learning disabilities. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care, and regulatory compliance while guiding a 24-hour staff team.

Key duties include developing plans, safeguarding, audits and budget management, with a focus on independence and choice for tenants.

Qualifications

• This role requires proven management experience in a care setting.
• Experience in care and support planning.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and social care law.
• Understanding of MCA/DoLS and safeguarding practices.
• Experience managing budgets and service performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall day-to-day management of the supported living service.
• Register with CQC and maintain high compliance standards.
• Lead and develop a dedicated staff team.
• Ensure person-centred, outcome-focused support plans.
• Maintain staffing, rotas and training requirements.
• Manage audits, records and CQC notifications.
• Contribute to financial viability and growth.
