Job summary

Thendon Resourcing Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of high-quality supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, brain injuries or mental health needs in Potters Bar and surrounding areas.

You will lead and develop the care team, ensure regulatory compliance (CQC), manage care packages, coordinate training, nurture strong relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals and families, and drive business development

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager / Care Manager in supported living.
• Background in managing services for adults with learning disabilities, brain injury, or mental health needs.
• QCF Level 5 in health or social care leadership or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support the staff team.
• Audit service to ensure compliance with CQC/regulatory requirements.
• Manage care packages and regular reviews to meet needs.
• Ensure staff training is up to date and arrange required training.
• Maintain relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals and families.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a background in Supported Living for adults with Learnign disbaailities, Aquired Brain Injury or Mental health needs, to oversee the day-to-day management of high-quality supported living services. As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Staff Leadership and Development - Lead, develop and support the staff team.
• Oversee Compliance - Regular audit of service to ensure that they are meeting CQC and regulatory requirements.
• Management of Care Packages - Ensure that peoples are being met, and that they encouraged and supported to achieve their dreams and goals. Ensure that people's needs are regularly reviewed and the right support is in place.
• Staff Training - Ensure staff are up to date on all training, identify where additional training is needed and arrange any ad-hoc/specialist training.
• Relationship Management - Maintain excellent working relationships and communication with all those involved in peoples care - commissioners, healthcare professionals and families.
• Business Development - Work with the Business Owner in developing the business, assessment of potential new clients.

About You

• We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager / Care Manager who has a background in managing supported living services.
• Ideally, you'll have the QCF level 5 in health or social care leadership or be working towards this.
• You'll be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live a life that is meaningful, enjoy activities that are important to them and supporting them to regain or develop independent living skills.
