Buttons Recruitment Ltd in Mundesley, Norfolk, is seeking a Registered Manager for a Solo Children's Home to lead a dedicated care team and ensure high standards of trauma-informed, child-centred care.

You will drive safeguarding, staff development, and collaboration with families and external partners, while shaping a safe, nurturing home environment and delivering positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in children’s residential care and leadership.
• Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification.
• Experience with trauma-informed practice and therapeutic parenting.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a dedicated care team.

LOCATION - Mundesley, Norfolk

SALARY - £43,476 – £45,107 + potential to earn £46,709

HOURS - 37 hours | Permanent | Full-time

What will you be doing?

• Managing and developing a dedicated care team
• Embedding trauma-informed, child-centred care
• Creating a safe and nurturing home environment
• Supporting and developing staff through supervision and training
• Working with families, professionals and external agencies
• Working alongside therapeutic specialists
• Maintaining excellent safeguarding and regulatory standards
• Driving continuous improvement and positive outcomes

You’ll need:

• Strong experience in children’s residential care and leadership
• Level 3 childcare-related qualification
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
• Experience with trauma-informed practice and therapeutic parenting
• The confidence to lead a team and make decisions
• Excellent communication skills
• The resilience, warmth and personality to make a real difference
