Job summary

Brook Street is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home in Birmingham, supporting young people aged 8-17 with EBD. You will oversee day-to-day management, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance while developing a compassionate, child-centred environment.

The role offers a salary of £60,000-£65,000 DOE, a path to long-term development, and a supportive senior leadership team, with ongoing training and career progression

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of children's home regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the home and staff team.
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance in line with Ofsted requirements.
• Create a positive, child-centred environment that supports outstanding outcomes.
• Drive staff development and performance through coaching and supervision.
• Oversee operations to support service development and quality standards.
