Job summary

Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Registered Manager for an 8-bed learning disabilities service in Hampshire. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead the staff team, ensure CQC compliance and uphold the values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment through personalised, high-quality support.

The role involves governance, budget management, staff development and service improvement, with on-call rotation and close collaboration with the Operations

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care is essential.
• Minimum 5 years' managerial/supervisory experience in care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and key legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service in line with CQC requirements and company policies.
• Ensure governance, risk management and incident reporting.
• Oversee assessments, support plans and risk assessments.
• Promote service user involvement in decisions affecting their lives.
• Lead recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management.
• Ensure mandatory training is completed and recorded.
• Manage budgets, staffing levels and resources.
• Investigate complaints and maintain high-quality standards.
• Lead staff meetings and service user meetings.
• Participate in on-call management rota.
• Support business planning, quality initiatives and service development.
• Work with Operations Team to manage voids and placements.
