Job summary

West Sussex County Council is seeking a Registered Manager for Ball Tree Croft, a residential care home in Sompting, delivering person-centred care for adults with a learning disability. You will lead a small team in a 37-hour week, with some on-call duties and potential rota coverage.

You will bring solid qualifications in health and social care, a management qualification, and a Registered Manager's Award, plus extensive residential care experience.

Qualifications

• Professional health or social care qualification required.
• Postgraduate management qualification desirable.
• Registered Manager's Award or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in residential/social care settings.
• Experience of budget management and partnership working.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the residential care service to improve outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
• Influence stakeholders and coordinate multi-agency partnerships to deliver a seamless service.
• Ensure safe, supportive, and homely environments with adherence to regulations (CQC/Health & Safety).
• Manage resources and budgets effectively to deliver high-quality care.
• Drive service development and respond to regulatory requirements and best practice.
