Job summary

Bramley Health is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for Ballater House, a learning disability care home with nursing in Coulsdon, Surrey. You will lead the service, support a dedicated team and ensure high standards of care, compliance and quality.

This leadership role requires strong governance, risk management and staff development capabilities, with on-call rotation and continuous improvement at the core of the service delivery.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration or equivalent for care leadership roles.
• Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager in a complex care setting.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operation of Ballater House as Registered Manager.
• Recruit, manage, supervise, develop and retain staff.
• Oversee nursing and support worker rotas and ensure safe medication management.
• Maintain compliance with CQC, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, health & safety and COSHH.
• Drive governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Provide rotational out-of-hours on-call support.
