We're looking for a Registered Manager to join our wonderful team on a full-time basis.
Ball Tree Croft is a Care Quality Commission registered residential care home providing person-centred care and support for up to 15 people over the age of 18 who have a learning disability. In addition, it has four bedrooms where people can have short breaks.
An important part of what we do is enabling and encouraging people to be independent and make choices about their day-to-day lives. From what colour they have on their bedroom wall, to riding a bike, going to work, or future planning within the service (their home), we always ensure people are supported to explore opportunities. For example, we have People Ambassadors who represent the voice of the people using our service.
About The Job
Salary: £49,817 to £53,051 depending on experience
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 09:00-17:00, Friday 09:00-16:30. You maybe required to work on rota and cover Sleeping In On Call shifts (Monday-Sunday inclusive).
Contract Length: Full time, 37 hours per week

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual who can lead the services into the future with a focus on empowering and enabling people to maximise their potential and build and develop their strengths and life skills and have choice and control about their everyday life in a Residential Care setting.
You will need to be able to maintain positive and effective relationships in order to advise and influence stakeholders. You will clearly demonstrate a track record of strategic and solution focused achievements. You will have an excellent knowledge of service delivery and management, for example evidencing outcomes for people who have learning disabilities, and providing a kind, caring safe and effective homely environment in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Health and Safety regulations.
You will also be able to demonstrate a wide range of subject matter expertise across social care and be up to date with key areas of social care legislation (e.g. Care Act 2014) and the CQC regulations for registered services providing a regulated activity.
